Welcome to SME System ("the Service"), provided by Real Code Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our cloud-based ERP system designed for UK Small and Medium Enterprises.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SME System, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

3. Description of Service

SME System is a multi-tenant ERP platform providing the following modules:

• Contacts Management: Store and manage customer and supplier information
• CRM: Track leads through sales pipelines with Kanban board management
• Sales: Create quotes, manage orders, and generate PDF documentation
• Products: Manage product catalogues with pricing and inventory

4. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use

5. Subscription and Billing

SME System is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all fees associated with your chosen plan
• Provide accurate billing information
• Maintain active payment methods for recurring charges

6. Data Ownership and Security

As a multi-tenant system, your data is isolated by organisation. You retain full ownership of all data you input into SME System. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Row-Level Security (RLS) via Supabase
• Encrypted data transmission
• Regular security audits

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other organisations' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Upload malicious code or viruses

8. UK Law Compliance

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. The Service is designed to comply with UK regulations including GDPR and UK data protection laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Real Code Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, you will be given the opportunity to export your data.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
